At our annual education job fair, we proudly place you—as a qualified candidate—in a position to network with other professionals. Interview with educational institutions both locally and out-of-state, and attain your dream job in the field of education!

Steps to Take Before the Fair
1. CREATE A FREE HANDSHAKE ACCOUNT IF YOU DON’T HAVE ONE - Here’s how to set up your Handshake account. Please note: Your college/university does not need to be a member of Handshake for you to sign up for a Handshake account. All students, regardless of where they attend, can sign up and use Handshake for free.
2. BUILD A COMPLETE PROFILE IN HANDSHAKE - Make sure to include your resume and class year, as well as other relevant information. This is the profile employers will see, so you want to make a good impression! Check out these helpful articles to learn how to upload a document to Handshake.
3. REGISTER TO ATTEND THE FAIR - Click here to register to attend our fair.
4. TALK WITH YOUR FAMILY ABOUT YOUR JOB SEARCH - At the PERC Job Fair you will have the opportunity to meet employers from our local area as well as many states outside of Pennsylvania. Before attending the fair, it would be a good idea for you to think about where you may be open to working after graduation and have a conversation with your family about the geographic areas you are considering. Exploring opportunities beyond your home state can be both a strategic move and offer you a wealth of experiences that can shape a dynamic and fulfilling career in education.

Eligible candidates are students (Juniors, Seniors and graduate students) or alumni in affiliated with consortium or non-consortium colleges and universities who will be eligible for work in the following areas: teacher education, speech language pathology, occupation therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), administration, or other certified school-based professional positions such as counselor, social worker, psychologist, and nurses.

If your university is a consortia member, it’s free to register ahead of the job fair. If you register on-site, it is $20.
If your university is NOT a consortia member, it is $20 to register ahead of the job fair. If you register on-site, it is $40.

1- Bring multiple copies of your resume. Pro Tip: bring more resumes than you think you will need. There will NOT be printing service at the fair.

Monroeville, PA 15146Free parking is available at the Monroeville Convention Center (MCC), old DoubleTree Hotel next door to the convention center, and the MCC Overflow Parking Lot at Monroeville Mall in front of Dick's Sporting Goods. If you park elsewhere, you risk being ticketed or towed at your expense. DO NOT park at Home Goods, At Home, Burlington Coat Factory, the VA Hospital or any other surrounding businesses.
A few FREE shuttle buses will continuously circle the lots between MCC, DoubleTree Hotel and the lots in front of Dick's Sporting Goods at the Monroeville Mall. Look for the White URSO shuttle bus. The shuttle will take you to the MCC South Entrance.
**Please allow an additional 15 minutes to your arrival time if utilizing the shuttle.
2026 Educator Excellence Award Information
The Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium is proud to announce the 2026 Educator Excellence Award! PERC recognizes up to 10 future and current educators with a one-time $500 cash prize every academic year. Application information provided below.

Candidates for this award must:
Be a current undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate student of a PERC Member Institution. Alumni of a PERC Member Institution are also eligible to apply.
Candidates must be eligible for certification by December 31, 2026
