PERC Teacher Job Fair

Registration will go live in December. Thank you for your interest. We hope to see you next year!

  • Registration Fee:
    $375.00 for 2 representatives


    Your standard 10' x 10' booth includes: 8' high back drape (blue & white), 3' high side drape (blue), one six-foot skirted table, two chairs, and one trash can. Your registration fee also includes lunch/snacks for two recruiters on the day of the event.

    Extra Booth: $150.00 for 2 representatives
    If you order 2 booths, you can bring up to 8 representatives.
    If you order 2 booths and 2 interview tables, you can bring up to 10 representatives.

    Additional Representatives:
    You may bring up to 4 more representatives to have on the floor at your tables.

    Interview Tables: $50.00
    You may order up to 2 interview tables. If ordering 2 interview tables, you can bring an additional 2 representatives.

    Help us to kick off the PERC Teacher Job Fair by joining us for an employer reception the evening before the event. Hors D'oeuvres and beverages will be served. Prizes from various PERC member institutions will be given away. Dress is casual.

    Directions

    From Pittsburgh International Airport

    Upon exiting the airport drive, follow the signs to Pittsburgh. The route numbers on this main expressway are, at various times, PA Route 60 and Interstate 279. Stay on the main road for approximately the next 10 miles. As you approach the Fort Pitt Tunnel, get into the right lane. Cross the Fort Pitt Bridge and bear right onto I-376 (Parkway East). Follow I-376 through the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and continue to Exit 10B Business Route 22. Follow directions below:

    From Pittsburgh via the Parkway East (I-376)

    Take exit 10B onto Business Route 22. Proceed two miles. Crossing bridge, take first or second drive on the right. First drive, marked MONROEVILLE MALL and RADISSON HOTEL, is TRUCK ENTRY and entry to EXPOMART West Wing Parking Lot; second drive is for EXPOMART East and South Wing Parking. To reach RADISSON HOTEL, use either drive, continue to stop sign, turn left and follow further directional signs.

    From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76)

    Take exit 57 (old exit 6) from Turnpike and follow signs to Business Route 22 and Monroeville. Go West on Business Route 22 for two miles. To reach RADISSON HOTEL or EXPOMART, follow signs to MONROEVILLE MALL using TRUCK ENTRY (turning left at light) or MAIN ENTRY (bearing right and crossing over Route 22). As you approach the underpass, EXPOMART West Wing Parking Lot is on the right; East Wing Parking Lot is on the left; South Wing uses either lot. To reach RADISSON HOTEL, continue under EXPOMART, turn left at stop sign and follow further directional signs.

    Shipping Job Fair Materials

    If you would like to ship your materials prior to the fair, send 7 - 10 days in advance to:

    Be sure to have your return shipment label ready to affix to your materials following the job fair; materials are to be taken to the designated ExpoMart booth after the job fair (details available at event). You are responsible for calling your shipper to schedule a pick up of your materials at the above address.

    Parking

    Parking at the ExpoMart and Radisson Hotel is free.

     

    Employer Registration Packets & Event Agenda

    Employer registration packets will be available at the check-in desk of the Radisson Hotel the day before the event. All packets not picked up at the Radisson Hotel will be available at the employer registration desk the day of the event.

    Your employer registration packet will include your nametag, an agenda, an event directory, a blank interview schedule sheet (for your convenience), an event evaluation form, and lunch tickets for the number of representatives your school district has registered.

      NOTE: Please do not leave prior to 4 pm --- some students are unable, due to Student Teaching, to be at the event in the morning. Thank you for your consideration.

    Refund/Cancellation Policy:


    All cancellations MUST be received via email to sutton@cup.edu
    Cancellations received on or before March 7, 2008 will receive a full refund.
    Cancellations received after March 7, 2008 will not receive a refund and payment is expected from those who have not yet paid.
